Nadia Wehbe is the Founder of Baby Arabia – a language program that teaches languages through play. The first target language was Arabic, where she created and developed a program that could be offered to nurseries to teach children as young as 1 year, the program was then developed into other languages like French and Spanish, it can now be replicated for any target language that is required. The Baby Arabia program is now also offered as an Immersion Program in Nurseries and has been adopted as a training program for teachers on how to deliver “Language learning through Play”. Baby Arabia has also created products to aid parents and nurseries with fun products in Arabic. Nadia’s passion for multilingualism and diversity is rooted in her Eastern & Western background. She is the product of a Palestinian/Lebanese father and a British mother, born in Kuwait and brought up in the UAE. Her husband is Norwegian and their two boys were born in Mexico. She graduated from the The University of Denver, Colorado with a degree in Business & Hotel Management and her career have given her the privilege of living in several countries around the world. She is passionate about bringing languages into homes and nurseries very early in childhood and she is an advocate for multilingualism and its importance in creating a love for language, culture, and acceptance. As founder of Baby Arabia, Nadia is a proud member of Vital Voices Grow where she was chosen for a fellowship. The VV GROW Fellowship is a highly competitive one-year accelerator program for women owners of small and medium businesses. She won first place at the Ro’ya 2014 Award an initiative to promote female entrepreneurship in the UAE. Nadia was one of the founding volunteers in Dubai for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund where medical aid was given to many children from the Arab world. أقل
