Why do my daughter’s hands shake when she is engaging in a fine motor task like tying her shoes, using a pen, or trying to pick up something small?

Answer
These movements are called tremors and usually, they are benign essential tremors, this can appear at any age but can also be a lifelong condition, but is not life-threatening or dangerous it tends to run in families but can start at different ages in different family members. Other reasons for tremors in children need to be looked at and ruled out using examination techniques and investigation.
